Introduction

Kyungdong has experiences accumulated for decades and overall technical skills to operate mines.

Kyungdong has developed the coal layer very successfully from the complicated geological structure for over 40 years that geological folds
and faults have been developed, and difficult geological conditions have left valuable experiences and technical skills to Kyungdong after decades have passed
in all processes of production such as survey, digging through, treatment of pumice stone and coal mining etc.

The coal mining method in a type of sub-level caving which is one of the coal mining methods in a type of caving
in the pit can be said to be a representative coal mining method of Kyungdong.

It is not the existing traditional sub-level caving method and plays
a huge role in improving productivity by creating active changes according to geological conditions that vary in each mining site.
